What Shopify CRO covers
If visitors are arriving and not buying, more traffic is the expensive answer. The cheaper one is finding out where they leave and why.
We go through your analytics and your storefront the way a shopper does, list what is getting in the way, and fix the highest-impact issues first. Where traffic allows, changes are tested so you know they worked.
Funnel and analytics review
Where visitors enter, where they drop off and which devices and pages lose the most.
Product page improvements
Clearer titles, images, pricing, variant selection, delivery information and calls to action.
Cart and checkout friction
Surprise costs, extra steps and confusing options removed between add-to-cart and payment.
Mobile experience
Layouts, tap targets and load behavior checked on real phone sizes, where most traffic usually is.
A/B testing
Changes tested against the original where there is enough traffic to reach a reliable result.
Speed and trust signals
Slow pages, missing policies and absent reassurance addressed where they cause hesitation.
Process
How the work runs
The same four stages every time, so you always know where things stand.
Step 1: Diagnose
We review analytics and walk the store on desktop and mobile to find where sales are lost.
Step 2: Prioritize
Issues are ranked by likely impact and effort, so the first changes are the ones most worth making.
Step 3: Implement and test
Changes are built on a duplicate theme, reviewed, published and measured.
Step 4: Report and iterate
You see what changed and what it did, and the next round starts from the new baseline.
Is this for you?
Who this service suits
A good fit if
- You have steady traffic but conversion is below where you expect.
- Analytics is installed and has some history.
- You are willing to test changes rather than argue about them.
- You can let us implement changes, or have a developer who can.
Probably not the right fit if
- You have very little traffic; acquisition comes first.
- You want a redesign based on taste rather than evidence.
- You expect a guaranteed percentage uplift.
Common mistakes
What we see go wrong most often
Redesigning without data
A new look can lower conversion as easily as raise it. Start with where visitors actually drop off.
Testing small things on low traffic
A button-color test on a few hundred visitors will not reach a conclusion. Bigger changes or before-and-after comparison are more useful.
Ignoring mobile
A page that looks fine on a laptop can hide the buy button below three screens of content on a phone.
FAQ
Shopify CRO questions
How much traffic do I need for A/B testing?
Enough for a test to reach a reliable result in a reasonable time, which depends on your current conversion rate. For lower-traffic stores we make well-evidenced fixes and compare before and after instead.
What tools do you use?
Shopify's own analytics and Google Analytics 4 for the numbers, plus heatmaps and session recordings where seeing real behavior helps explain them.
Will you change my theme?
Changes are built on a duplicate theme and published only after you approve them, the same way as our Shopify development work.
Do you guarantee an uplift?
No. We commit to a clear process and honest measurement. Some tests lose, and knowing that is useful too.
